Citrine Triangle Ring

citrine-ring

I have a thing for swoopy rings. I like my jewelry to defy hard-edged geometry. I like shapes without sharp corners. I like flowing, moving shapes. I like swoopy rings.

Rings are, by definition, circles–a continuous line without a beginning or end. That works for me.

Citrine Triangle RingBut what if within the structure of the endless circle there was a swoop? What if circle looked more like a triangle? What if you took away the pointy corners on the triangle, and it became the most comfy of all rings? What if that triangle was made of swoops with dome shaped insides? (Let’s face it—more swoops. Comfort swoops!) Best of all, what if the whole thing stayed put on your finger? Maybe it would move, but not slide all the way to one side in the winter when fingers get funny and rings don’t sit still?

This is that ring. It was carved in wax, cast in sterling silver and comes to you with a window cut Citrine.

It is also available in 18K yellow gold.
